My story begins last Christmas. I was out on my parent’s Razor(A.T.V.)and I was just driving around on the road and I hit ice and I started spinning. I tried to even out and stop, but that didn’t work. Finally I came to a stop and I was way too close to the edge of the road and where I was at the road dropped off, so if I had gone any farther I probably wouldn’t be around today. So I was lucky and I got home safely and everything was ok. It was a very scary situation though, and I’m glad it turned out well and I didn’t get hurt. And my parents were relieved, but I got grounded. Christmas was still really amazing as it always should be. Just keep in mind that you should never be upset over the fact that maybe your Christmas doesn’t turn out well, you just have to see the good in the picture and still be happy. Like some people say, look at the silver lining. There’s always something to be happy about, so anyone reading this remember that. By Nicholas Waugh The smell of the warm fire the morning of Christmas. Even though it is cold during Christmas it is my favorite holiday. Most of the time my parents are already awake, but we have a rule in our house the first one wake on Christmas gets to wake everyone up, I’m usually the first one up anyways. The first thing I do is wake everyone up and then look outside to see if it snowed the night before. The first thing we open is our stockings, to see what kind of candy and little stuff we get. I usually get candy canes and just little things like that. Most of the time my dad hands out the presents to us. He usually goes the least important to the most important. Presents go by really fast. Finally we get to eat. I love Christmas dinner because most of the time some of my family comes up to eat with us. The great food is the best ever. Being with family and hanging out with cousins is the best. I hope that your Christmas is as great as mine. By Trista Simmons Merry Christmas
