Youth Summit scheduled March 16-17

"Community Unity Starts with You" is the theme of the 5th Annual Northwest Regional Summit on Youth scheduled for March 16-17 at the Quality Inn in Clarkston, WA.

There will be activities for youth and adults from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Among the activities are 40 breakout sessions, interactive youth and adult panel sessions/discussions including Substance Abuse, Leadership, Teen Dating and Relationships, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Employment, Positive Choices, Suicide Prevention and more. There will also be lunch, entertainment and door prizes. A free youth event will be held March 16 from 5-7 p.m. at the Asotin County Family Aquatic Center.

Registration is $50 and there are scholarships for students in grades 7-12.
