E.W. Blake homesteaded land on what is now Harmony Heights in about 1895. At the time the area was in Shoshone County. It eventually became the town of Blake which had a post office and a school. Blake donated the land for the school due to the numerous children in the area. The town now longer exists. (Info courtesy of Clearwater Historical Museum)
