Strikers show well at tournament

The Orofino Strikers wrestling team attended a tournament in Warden, WA Saturday.

Ten out of the 13 wrestlers that went to the tournament placed in their respective weight classes. Here are the results:

First place winners were John Walker 47 lb., Josh Walker 53 lb., Hayden Senefsky 83 lb., Preston Walker 81 lb., Michael Skinner 88 lb., Bert Roberts 93 lb., and Zack Irby 133 lb.

Second place winner was Garrett Senefsky 75 lb.

Third place winners were David Lipton 126 lb, and Cole Senefsky 173 lb.

Jas Hudson, Danny Dietrick and Morgan Sweener, also participated in the tournament.

Next Saturday the Orofino Strikers will be traveling to Dayton, WA for their next match. The state championship tournament will be held March 26 at Cheney, WA.
