Soccer teams meets Lewiston JV teams

Orofino Girls and Boys Soccer teams traveled Tuesday to compete with the Lewiston Junior Varsity teams in Lewiston.

In the girls match, Orofino girls worked very hard as a team only to come up short in the end as the Lewiston JV girls came out on top 5-2.

The boy's action saw a different ending as the Orofino boys beat the Lewiston JV by a score of 1-0.

Next match is in Payette on Friday. No other information was available at publication time.

On Saturday, the soccer teams they will play at home against Priest River. The games will begin at 1 p.m. behind Orofino Elementary School.
