500 people needed to help test 'Response Plan'

People of this region are being invited to help North Central District Health Department test their "Response Plan" Thursday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

NCDHD has been working for several years on plans for responding to public health emergencies and this will provide an opportunity involve people from the communities they serve. The goal is to have 500 citizens join Public Health for the exercise so they can test and improve their Response Plan.

Participants will be asked to fill out a form, proceed through the line and receive imitation medicine (candy). There are no requirements for participation. People may bring their children, grandchildren, next-door-neighbor who uses a walker or anyone else they would like.
