Orofino Junior High Football hosts Clarkston

Clarkston Junior High was in town to play the Orofino Junior High School football team at Orofino High School football field Tuesday night.

The Orofino Vikings scored two touchdowns, however one was called back due to a holding penalty. By the end of four quarters Clarkston came up on top by the score of 20 to 6.

During the fifth quarter each of the seventh grade players from both sides were allowed 10 plays from the 40 yard line to score. Clarkston’s team was able to come up with two scores, but Orofino came up with none.

Next game for the Vikings will be Oct. 13 at home against Grangeville Junior High.
