OJHS students win spelling, geography bees

Two young men from Orofino Junior High School competed in School District 171's Geography Bee and Spelling Bee.

Connor Shropshire of Orofino won the Geography Bee and Kyler Dupea won the Spelling Bee. Shropshire has taken a test for the state competition but has not heard the results. Dupea will be competing at the Inland Invitational Spelling Bee at the Williams Conference Center located on the Lewis and Clark State College Campus. The Spelling Bee will be held on March 11 at 1:30 p.m.
