The Orofino Maniacs took control of the game from the very beginning by dominating the boards and making their shots. Michael Copeland opened the game with a three pointer and the Maniacs never looked back.

The second half was not a lot different than the first. CVHS did not score until there was four minutes left in the third quarter. Jonathan George made that shot for CVHS.

It was reported that Beau Renshaw, one of the starters at CVHS was not able to play due to a knee injury.

Final score was Orofino 46 CVHS 21.

OHS Coach Tony Snyder commented that the kids did really well and that they only had five turnovers. He feels the Maniacs should do well in the district tournament that starts next Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. Orofino will be playing at Booth Hall in Lewiston. They are third seated, coming into the tournament.

OHS regular season ended with 10 wins and 10 losses. Conference games tallied at four wins and four losses.
