Lady Maniac JV take win

The Orofino High School Junior Varsity Girls Softball team came away with smiles as they beat Colfax in Tuesday night action by the score of Orofino eight Colfax six.

It was a game that was well fought by both teams and was pretty even through out the evening. Colfax scored the first run while Orofino matched it in the first inning Second inning Colfax brought in a run but the JV Lady Maniacs were unable to score.

In the third inning Colfax scored two runs and the Lady Maniacs were able to score three runs to tie the score at four a piece. There was no scoring in the fourth inning. Each team came back in the fifth inning to score two runs keeping the score tied at six runs a piece.

The Lady Maniacs were able to stop any scoring in the top of the sixth inning for Colfax and they went on to win the game in the bottom of the inning scoring two runs.

Next game for the Lady Maniac JV squad is Thursday, March 24 as they host the Clearwater Valley High School JV team.
