Three confess to OHS 'prank'

Three of the juveniles involved in vandalism at Orofino High School have confessed to their involvement, according to Orofino Police Chief Ron Pomerinke.

The investigation indicates that a fourth juvenile was also involved, he said. The information has been sent to the city's prosecuting attorney for further action.

A custodian arriving at work Sept. 6 discovered that fire extinguishers had been discharged in the OHS cafetorium and foyer area. Additionally, all the items had been removed from two downstairs classrooms and put in the hallway. School was cancelled while clean up was done. The missed day will have to be made up later, according to Principal Jerry Nelsen.
