Orofino beats Troy

The Troy Trojans were no match for the Orofino Lady Maniacs in volleyball action Tuesday evening.

The Orofino girls easily handled their opponents. Four games were played for the match and Orofino won three out of the four games. In the first game Orofino beat Troy by a score of 25-19. Troy came back and won the second game by the score of 11-25. Orofino went on to finish the match off by beating Troy 25-20 and 25-20 respectively.

According to Coach Julie Roby, there were some stars that shined during the games. Jessica Roby had 20 out of 21 serves with six aces. Capri Savage had 17 out of 19 serves with six aces also.

Defensively, Ellen Rouse came up with 17 digs.

The Lady Maniacs play at home tonight against Deary. Games begin at 6 p.m.
