Lahni Rintelen named OCI Queen for 2006

Lahni Marie Rintelen (center) was named Orofino Celebration, Inc., Queen for 2006 with Jillian Wilson (left) and Lina Barraza as princesses following the annual Royalty Ball Saturday evening.

Queen Lahni Marie Rintelen and Princesses Jillian Wilson and Lina Barraza were crowned as the 2006 Royalty for Orofino Lumberjack Days and the Clearwater County Fair Saturday evening following Orofino Celebrations, Inc. annual ball.

For the next year, the three young women will represent Orofino and Clearwater County, especially in promoting Orofino Lumberjack Days and the Clearwater County Fair which are scheduled Sept. 15-18 with the theme, "Summer Days and Country Ways".

Alicia Hinkle performed a humorous skit, "The Computer Blues".

Jillian Wilson performed a skit about sewing by hand.

Lina Barraza did a monologue, accompanied with sign languarge, about a maid that lost her employer's jewelry box.

Stephanie Montambo did an original skit, "My Memories with My Grandaddy".

Lahni Marie Rintelen did an original monologue about what is like to grow up in the country.
