OCI Royalty wins Presidential award

Orofino Lumberjack Days Royalty, Queen Lahni Rintelen and Princess Jillian Wilson, won the Presidential award during the debut of the Orofino Celebrations, Inc. (OCI) float at Kamiah Barbecue Days Saturday.

The float, with the theme "Summer Days and Country Ways", won the award as the best overall. The entry also won first in the royalty division. Next weekend OCI's Royalty will participate in the Lewiston Roundup. The following weekend is the Clearwater County Fair and Lumberjack Days.

Rintelen and Wilson also wore their new dresses for the first time at a public event.

Those traveling with and assisting the royalty with the float were: Craig, Tammy and Megan Gilmer and Tracy, Justin and Annette Haag.
