Mobile slaughter unit topic of meeting

Meat producers interested in a U.S.DA certified mobile slaughter unit will have an opportunity to talk via conference call with Bruce Dunlop, Lopez Island Farm Mobile Unit Operator, about the specifics and processing questions March 29.

This meeting is the second in a series of local meat producers to consider the development of a mobile U.S.D.A. certified meat processing unit in Clearwater County/the Upper Clearwater region. Beginning at 2 p.m. there be a prerecorded meeting in which Dunlop describes his operation to a group similar to the one in Clearwater County. At 3 p.m. Dunlop will answer questions from the audience.
