April is 'TV Turn off Month'

April is "TV Turn off Month" at Clearwater Memorial Public Library.

They are promoting turning off the TV and reading books during the month. There will be prizes each week for children 17 and under. For adults 18 and over, an adult bags of books will be given away at the end of the month. There is a limit of one entry per person per day.

Patrons are being asked to post the titles of the books they have read recently on the TV to cover it up. Tee shirts are available for sale to celebrate turning of the TV and reading. Check with a librarian for more details.
