New generation explores Lewis and Clark water trail

Scout Troop 62 from Meridian launched their own voyage of discovery from Canoe Camp Thursday on the 200th anniversary of the historic Lewis and Clark Expedition's beginning of their canoe journey down the Clearwater River and on to the Pacific coast.

While the scouts and their leaders will have to be back to school and jobs Monday, for a few days they are experiencing the wonder, beauty and adventure of the journey including a stop in Clarkston, WA for Lewis and Clark activities.
