Harper's Bend Fire 95 percent contained

Containment of the Harper's Bend Fire is at 95 percent today, according to Mary Fritz, Idaho Department of Lands.

Fire fighters continue to mop up and patrol the fire focusing on the southern flank. Structures adjacent to the fire are considered secure. Demobilization of resources is occurring, she added.

Remaining mop up and patrol will be done by Idaho Department of Lands Craig Mountain Fire Protective District. Any questions about the fire should be directed to the Craig Mountain Area office at 208-924-5571.

The fire one mile west of Peck started Tuesday afternoon and has consumed approximately 310 acres.
