Dworshak fishing good

Bass and kokanee fishing on Dworshak Reservoir is good, as is just hanging out and relaxing, according to Evelyn Kaide of the Guide Shop.

She and her family took time last week to enjoy some summer fishing and recreating. In addition to good fishing, they enjoyed seeing all the wildlife, eagles, osprey, elk, deer and bear. The lake is at full pool and looks awesome. Those who choose can get to all the mini camps quite easily.

Bass prefer worms or black Kalin grubs, while kokanee are biting on maggots. A few trout are being caught with worms or Powerbait.
