Donkey basketball game planned Monday

By Helen Savage

Orofino High School teachers and coaches along with other teachers and coaches within the district will play basketball on the backs of donkeys against the OHS senior baseball and softball players Monday, March 7, at 7 p.m.

Local drug stores reported to be running low on liniment and pain killers as the teachers prepare to ride in the upcoming game. It was also reported that Clearwater Valley Hospital will be running a full staff in their emergency room that evening.

Bring the family and watch your favorite (or not so favorite) teacher or coach perform phenomenal athletic abilities never seen before while staying on the top side of the donkey (they hope).

Donkey Sports, Inc. of Entiat, WA will be providing the donkeys and the officials. At half time of the game, children along with their parents will be allowed to come onto the floor to pet and sit on the donkeys.

Buy your tickets now from OHS or from any OHS baseball or softball player at a discounted price.
