Clearwater Human Needs Council to meet July 18

John Papineau, MLSW, with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare will be the guest speaker at the Clearwater Human Needs Council meeting at the Krystal Cafe', 226 Johnson Ave., at noon Tuesday, July 18.

Papineau will speak about the volunteer aspects of Child Protective Services.

Also included on the agenda are 'Success Stories', announcements, tips on how human needs service providers can serve each other and 'Blind Staffing'. During 'Blind Staffing' service providers can discuss client/participant/customer concerns with other service providers, who may respond with assistance or provision for needs addressed. Client names are not used and individual privacy is protected.

CHNC is preparing a booth for the Clearwater County Fair in September. Organizations who participate in the council are asked to provide no more than three photos for decorating the booth. Photos should reflect the work that each organization does. Remember that releases will be necessary if clients are in the photos.
