Complex board needs public comments

The board members of the Clearwater Community Complex is requesting assistance in filling out a survey and sharing opinions concerning the proposed Aquatic Center/Complex facility.

"This project and its proposed outcome are something that our community cannot afford to be without," said Patti Peterson. "At the same time, we want to be realistic about what it is that we want and what it is that we need. The members of the board have been very diligent in their research and understand the ramifications of developing and implementing a plan that is not in the best interests of the community as a whole. This is why we are seeking your opinion."

Surveys will be mailed out beginning the end of this week. They are confidential and can be dropped off at the following locations:

• Barney's
• IGA
• US Bank
• Wells Fargo Bank (Orofino branch)
• Mary Ann's (Weippe)
• R & R Foods (Pierce)
• Lewis Clark Credit Union
• Harper Chiropractic Clinic

Or they may be returned by mail in the enclosed envelope to Clearwater Community Complex, P.O. Box 1756, Orofino, ID 83544. The board is requesting that all completed surveys be returned by May 22.

"Your opinions are much valued and we look forward to hearing from every single member of our community. Thank you in advance for your participation," Peterson said.
