Business tax workshops scheduled The Idaho Small Business Development Center at Lewis Clark State College will present a series of workshops on Understanding Federal Business Taxes during February and March. On Thursday, Feb. 9, the workshop will be on "Basic IRS Tax Requirements". Whether the participant is a sole proprietor or a large corporation, being able to get accurate information on tax regulations and how they affect their business can save headaches, and perhaps lots of money. The Tax Requirements workshop will give participants a basic overview of their tax requirements as a small business owner. On Thursday, Feb. 23, the topic will be "Employee Taxes". This workshop provides tax information for small business owners who have employees or plan to hire new employees. "Record Keeping" will be the topic Thursday, March 9. This session will help the small business owner avoid IRS problems and provide a model for good record keeping. All the workshops will be held from 6-9 p.m. in the LCSC Administration Building, Room 203. The Idaho Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
