Karen Parvin, Donor Recruitment Representative for the American Red Cross, said there were two donors that stood out. Warren Berkheiser has given 150 pints of blood and Tim Roehr has donated 143 pints of blood. According to Parvin, "these two are truly lifetime life givers."

Next Blood drive for the Orofino area will be March 21. Those who donated this time will be eligible to donate again in March.

In the meantime, for a Government Class project, Orofino High School is sponsoring another blood drive for OHS students and the teachers on Feb. 22. Those who are not affiliated with the high school and have questions about donating or would like to donate at that time may contact Jessica Roby, Tawnya Brink or Loretta Zagelow during school hours at 476-5557.
