Better Business Bureau warns of possible fraud

The local Better Business Bureau would like to warn Eastern Washington and North Idaho chamber businesses that a company doing business as Picasso Publishing has been receiving a pattern of complaints from businesses in the Inland Northwest stating that they paid for advertising directories in full in the amount of $395 and up and have not received a product from the company.

The company is called Picasso Holdings, LLC and is doing business as Picasso Publishing located at 1106 W. Bolan, Spokane, WA 99224, with the phone number, (509) 448-4419, Owner is Frank Pasco, a BBB release said.

Customers state the company has been making promises have not followed through. One business is Twin Lakes Village Golf of Hayden, which, along with 14 other businesses, entered into an agreement with Picasso for their directories and when they pressed for a completion date with Pasco, they were hung up on, according to BBB.

This company has an unsatisfactory record with the bureau due to unanswered complaints as well as a pattern of complaints concerning non-delivery of the directories, BBB said.

Businesses that have entered into a transaction with Picasso Publishing and cannot gain a resolve from them are strongly encouraged by BBB to file a police report with the Spokane Police Department by calling the Spokane Crime Reporting Center at: (509) 532-9266 or file online at: http://www.spokanecounty.org/crimereportingcenter and file a formal complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office by calling: (509) 456-6373.
