Evening computer classes offered

The Adult Learning Center in the annex of Clearwater Memorial Public Library is offering adult evening computer classes in August.

Learn the basics of spreadsheets and formulas by taking Introduction to Spreadsheets, Monday, Aug. 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Need to get organized? A new program 'Sorting' will help with mailing labels, sorting lists and maintaining membership lists? Sign up for the class to be held Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Participants must have an understanding of basic computer skills for this class.

Computer Comfort Part I: A class for the beginning user. No previous experience with computers is needed. Learn the very basics of computers: how to use the mouse, scroll, select and more. The class is scheduled on Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There is a five dollars per computer class.

Tutoring and GED preparation services are also available at the Adult Learning Center, at no cost.
