Kamiah man injured in log truck accident

A Kamiah man was injured in a one-vehicle log truck accident Sept. 14 on Beaver Creek Rd. near mile marker four, according to Clearwater County Sheriff's Department reports.

James M. Lindstrom was driving south in a 2000 Kenworth logging truck and slowed to miss a deer. While slowing, he pulled to the side of the road and the vehicle was pulled onto the shoulder where it overturned spilling the load of logs, the report said.

Lindstrom was transported to Clearwater Valley Hospital with unknown injuries received in the accident, the report concluded.
