Slick roadways contribute to accidents

There were no injuries in this one-car accident Monday about 4:30 p.m. just west of mile marker 41 on U.S. Highway 12.

Eric Wilson was driving this vehicle that slid on the snow covered roadway and ended up in the ditch near Transfer Station Rd. Orofino Police Department, Orofino Fire Rescue 33 and Clearwater County Ambulance Service 622 responded initially. Since there were no injuries, CCAS "stood down". The car was pulled out of the ditch by Orofino Body Shop and Wilson drove it to a repair shop. Rescue 3 and CCAS 620 had responded to another accident near mile marker 60, nine miles upriver from Greer just a few minutes earlier.
