Truck goes over guardrail

A 25-year-old Orofino man was arrested Saturday evening by Idaho State Police Cpl. John Ferris following a one-vehicle rollover near the Riverside Independent Water District intake (mile marker 42) on U.S. Highway 12, according to accident reports.

According to the reports, Mathew D. Hasenoehrl, was transported to Clearwater Valley Hospital by Clearwater County Ambulance Service. He was arrested after being treated. Justin Anderson, 24, Orofino, was a passenger in the truck.

The flat bed truck Hasenoehrl was driving was over the guardrail hanging by the back dual tires preventing it from going further over the bank and into the Clearwater River.

In addition to ISP, officers from Orofino Police Department and Clearwater County Sheriffs Department assisted at the scene, as did Orofino Volunteer Fire Department Rescue 3.
