9-11 Silent Parade scheduled Clearwater County emergency service agencies and staff invite the citizens of Clearwater County to join them for the fourth annual 9-11 Silent Parade. The parade honors emergency workers not only of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, but also the victims and heroes of other disasters and those who put themselves in harms way daily to serve or save others. Coming together with those in the community, even for these few moments, is an opportunity to reflect and to remember, to be buoyed and strengthened by one another, and to let hearts and minds be touched by the events and the people in one's life. Please join in the community remembrance Sunday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. The parade will begin on Michigan Ave. at the elementary school, turn left onto Johnson, head around Brookside Landing, proceed up Main St. to the Courthouse, turn left back onto Michigan, then right onto Riverside Ave., finishing at the large lot next to the school bus garage for pictures.
