Red Flag Warning in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. PDT Wednesday

National Weather Service-Missoula has issued a Red Flag Warning from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The affected area is Fire Weather Zone 102 which includes Orofino and the western portion of Clearwater County. The drier and windier areas will be locations along and south of U.S. Highway 12. Southwest winds of 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts 30 to 35 mph are forecast. Relative Humidity between 10 to 15 percent is expected.

Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
