National Weather Service issues Red Flag Warning

National Weather Service-Missoula has canceled the Fire Weather Watch and issued a Red Flag Warning for the Nez Perce/Clearwater and Palouse/Hells Canyon from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time Saturday.

A ridge breakdown and dry frontal passage will bring critical fire weather to the region. West winds are expected from 10-25 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 mph. Relative Humidity will be between 10 to 20 percent.

Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
