National Weather Service issues Heat Advisory from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday

National Weather Service-Missoula has issued a Heat Advisory from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in the Orofino/Lower Clearwater Region and the Lower Hells Canyon/Salmon River Region.

This level of heat affects anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and infrastructure.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
