Sandpoint man injured in State Highway 11 motorcycle accident

A Sandpoint man was injured in a motorcycle accident in the area of mile marker 32 on State Highway 11 Monday, according to Clearwater County Sheriff's Office.

At about 2:40 p.m. Monday, Clearwater County Sheriff's Office, Pierce Ambulance and Timberline Rescue responded to the scene for a reported motorcycle accident. The operator, identified as Anders Eastley, 21, of Sandpoint, failed to negotiate a curve in the road, causing his motorcycle to leave the roadway and go into the creek alongside SH 11. Eastley was transported from the accident scene via ambulance to Clearwater Valley Hospital for further assessment of his injuries.
