National Weather Service issues Freeze Warning

National Weather Service-Missoula has issued a Freeze Warning the Orofino/Grangeville Region and the Northern and Southern Clearwater Mountains above 2,500 feet from now until 8 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time Tuesday.

They are forecasting sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 above 2,500 feet. Tuesday will be the coldest morning. Most high valleys will experience a hard freeze.

Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
