Pony teams added to Orofino Lumberjack Days Horse Pull event

Two pony teams were added to the Orofino Lumberjack Days Horse Pull event this year with a brother and sister from Springdale, Wash. as their drivers.


The pony team that won first place is owned by Richard Cameron from Springdale Wash., the driver was his son, Colton Cameron, and ponies' names are Jack and Jess They have a combined weight of 1,000 pounds.

The second-place pony team is owned by Richard Cameron also, the driver was his daughter Cashlynn Cameron, and the ponies' names are Sam and Davis. Their combined weight is 800 pounds.

The lightweight team that got first place is owned by Jerry Lee Jr. from Sandy, Ore., and the horses' names are Roy and Rusty. Their combined weight is 3,400 pounds.

Second place lightweight team is owned by Cameron Witman from Blaine, Wash., and the horses' names are Trump and Wyatt. They have a combined weight of 3,450 pounds.

Third place lightweight team is owned by Randy Dodge from Albany, Ore., and the horses' names are Ted and Orville. Their combined weight is 3,450 pounds.

The heavyweight team that got first place is owned by Carson Witman from Blaine, Wash., and the horses' names are Jack & Red. Their combined weight is 3,800 pounds.

Second place heavyweight team is owned by Randy Dodge from Albany, Ore., and the horses' names are Tony & Rex. Their combined weight is 4,000 pounds.

Third place heavyweight team is owned by Richard Cameron from Springdale Wash., and the horses' names are Mike and Rich. They have a combined weight of 4,160 pounds.

Fourth place team is owned by Don Lee from Estacada, Ore., and the horses' names are Pete & Kate. Their combined weight is 4,000 pounds.
