National Weather Service-Missoula issues Winter Weather Advisory

National Weather Service Missoula has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Northern Clearwater Mountains from Saturday at 4 p.m. to 11 a.m. Monday.

Snow is expected with total accumulations of four to six inches. A period of intense snowfall is expected Sunday afternoon through Monday. Areas of particular impact are Elk River, Pierce and Idaho Highway 11 from Pierce to Headquarters.

NWS-Missoula advises the motorists plan on slippery road conditions, slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions are available by calling 511.
