High water causes minor flooding on Main, City Park in Orofino

With the Clearwater River running at just above flood action stage and continuing heavy rain, water backed up in the Orofino City Park and on Main St. near Brookside Landing Saturday, though no structures were threatened.

The minor flooding is not unusual when the Clearwater is running high and backs up the water.
