Christmas Story Once on Christmas Eve I couldn't go to sleep. Since I couldn't sleep, I got up then made a trap; it took me forever. My trap was perfect though, no doubt about it. There was a flour sack with a rope and a bag above it and it's around the tree. My trap was a fort then on the inside was a perfect bait. When Santa bends over to put presents under the tree, he would hit a limb or he sets a present on a weight sensor that makes the sack drop then he falls and then the bag falls and traps him then a rope wraps around him then I jump out and tie it. It's perfect. When I'm all done I go get coffee and wait. Then suddenly a sound. It happened so fast I had no clue what was going on. I go and check the tree and there was a little box. I heard a sound. I opened it and there was a kitten! I ran outside and the sleigh was leaving and Santa waved and said, “ Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas.” Then I smiled and took my kitten up stairs and fell asleep. --Kolby Vaughn Reprinted from our archives
