Clearwater Memorial Public Library shuts down due to COVID-19 pandemic

Clearwater Memorial Public Library is shut down for all patron services and will no longer be offering curbside services due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

They are now requesting that patrons who are returning items, please bring those items to the front of the library and place them in the appropriately labeled box during daytime hours only.

All due dates on borrowed items have been automatically extended until April 30 throughout Valnet. At this time it is not necessary to return items unless people are already coming in to town. They ask that people not return items at this time if they, or anyone in their household, has recently been or are currently ill.

Their website is constantly updating with information and resources. A new one recently added is JLG Digital eBooks for elementary, middle school and high school readers. It offers unlimited access to read books online from any device. Now with no passwords necessary. There is no limit to the number of users who can access the books, so tell all home-bound students to click to their hearts content. There are always new picks available. Check out: JLG@HOME for more complimentary.

Meanwhile, with this restriction in place, staff is using the time to clean and disinfect books, and move into the Children's expansion so it is ready for use when they do reopen.

Thanks for the continued support and patience during this stressful time.
