No one was able to tell us the history of this pin. This is what we know: The pin was given to the Clearwater Memorial Public Library after it was found with other jewelry in a bureau given to the Clearwater Historical Museum from the estate of Violet 'Vi' Lesmeister. We gathered all the information we could from Donna Leach of the Clearwater Historical Society Board, Carol Robinson Librarian at Orofino Junior/Senior High School and Vi's son, Mike Frensdorf. In addition to what has been shared in clues, we did learn that Vi graduated from Orofino High School in 1951, the same year the school had their first adult librarian. It does not seem that there was a library club at OHS in 1949. Sam Bacharach contributed that there are only two schools in Idaho that have the colors blue and white with mascots starting in 'B'.

We were hoping that someone who follows trivia would be able to tell us more about it. If you read this in the future and know more about it than the clues indicate, please let us know.

Join us for Clearwater History Trivia #575, a special feature to celebrate the history and heritage of Clearwater Country. Watch each day for another clue.
