Christmastime

Birds singing their last song
Nights are cold and long
Frost is in the air

Rain turned into snow
Houses are aglow
Quite an exciting affair

People laughing
Smiles lasting
Joy has been declared

Shoppers rushed
Stockings stuffed
Filled with love and care

Firelight glittering
Children jittering
Waiting for Christmas- they can hardly bear!

Reindeer are prancing
Elves are dancing
Christmastime is everywhere
