Icy road conditions factor in early morning injury crash on US 12 According to Idaho State Police icy road conditions were a factor in a two-car, injury collision on U.S. Highway 12 at mile post 27.5 near Lenore Wednesday morning about 6:15. Julia M. Moore, 53, Orofino was traveling west on US 12 in a read 1989 Honda Civic when she lost control of the vehicle and it went left of center. The vehicle struck a blue 2016 Subaru Outback being driven east by Santino A. Rossini, 43, Deary, head-on. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, according to ISP. Moore was taken to Clearwater Valley Hospital, then airlifted to Sacred Heart in Spokane, WA., ISP said. |
