County Commissioners approve 2017 audit

During their regular meeting Jan. 29, the Clearwater County Commissioners reviewed the Management's Discussion and Analysis for the Financial Report and approved the 2017 Audit for the Financial Report.

They were presented the Resolution designating and establishing a suitable and convenient number of election precincts and ballots for the March 13 Consolidated Election. It was approved.

The commissioners and Sheriff Chris Goetz reviewed the proposed new license for operation and maintenance of a public destination dock (Big Eddy) on Dworshak Reservoir with the Corp of Engineers that was submitted for approval. It was approved and signed.

Findings of fact were approved and signed for the Planning and Zoning decision on a Class C Subdivision for Andre and Arla Molsee and Conditional Use for Arnold Moore.

In other business the following were approved:

  • LexisNexis Contract for the Prosecutor C. Tyler Office
  • Expense and payroll claims
  • Liquor license renewals for NorthFork CafĂ©, Ponderosa/Brass Rail, Dining on the Edge, Frontier Foods, Oasis, Riverside Sport Shop, The Vets Club, Pizza Factory, The Flame Bar, The Market in Pierce, Orofino Golf & Country Club, The Lucky Inn and High Country Inn.
  • Idaho Unified Certification Program Agreement that was established by the Idaho Transportation Department and approved by the United States Department of Transportation
  • A Certificate of Residency for students attending a community college

There were two executive sessions held to discuss indigents and personnel that are exempt from disclosure. Present were Pro-tem John Smith and Commissioner Rick Winkel. Chairman Don Ebert was absent.
