Deary man injured in logging accident

A Deary man was injured in a logging accident about 11 a.m. Monday in the Dicks Creek area of Clearwater County, according to Clearwater County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Rick Miller.

CCSO received notification that a log had rolled over a subject on the logging site and an ambulance was requested. Due to the location and possible injuries, Life Flight and Clearwater County Ambulance Service were called. Steve Gustafson, 53, Deary, was transported by Life Flight to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston with unknown injuries, Miller said.
